Tony Towne and the Amazing Brain

After surviving the Fearful Summer of 1959, 10-year-old Tony Towne is ready to start the 5th grade. He becomes friends with Brian, an awkward boy with a photographic memory and a soaring I.Q. Lunar landings and the start of the space race give the boys plenty to think about, but soon there is a much more pressing problem – someone is starting fires at their school and Tony and Brian become prime suspects. The stakes are raised when their friend, Mr. Jenkins is arrested and put in jail, prompting the boys to find the real arsonist. They become amateur detectives and begin looking for clues.
