« Peines d’Une Tragédie » est un trou dans le cœur d ’Haïti, un trou dans mon cœur, un trou dans ton cœur, un trou dans nos cœurs ; un frappe terrible qui fait gicler le sang de nos souffrances pour noyer nos espoirs, ajoutant à nos amas de misères et voulant apporter un coup fatal à notre existence. A tous ceux qui nous ont aidés, nous disons nos remerciements et donnons notre gratitude, avec un ferme engagement que nous ne succomberons jamais quelle que soit la situation. « Lapenn Yon Trajedi’ se yon twou nan kè peyi Ayiti, yon twou nan kè m, yon twou nan kè w, yon twou nan kè noutout; yon frap terib ki fè san soufrans nou koule sot nan venn nou pou anvayi lespwa n, pou ajoute sou lo mizè n genyen deja, yon jan pou fini ak egzistans nou. Nou di mèsi epi bay gratitid a tout moun ki te ede n, ak yon angajman kòm sèman ke n ap releve kanpe kèlkeswa sitiyasyon an. « Pains of A Tragedy » is a hole in Haiti's heart, a hole in my heart, a hole in your heart, a hole in our hearts; a terrible blow that spurted the blood of our sufferings out of our veins to drown our hopes, add up to our miseries, seemingly to end our existence. To all of those who helped us, we are saying our thanks and giving gratitude with a pledge that we shall overcome no matter what the situation.
