Russkie nazvanija lic, zaimstvovannye iz pol'skogo jazyka: Bakalavrskaja rabota, napisannaja pod nauchnym rukovodstvom dr. Katazhiny Kuligovskoj (Russian Edition)

In this B.A. thesis a portion of 774 lexical items borrowed from Polish into Russian has been analyzed. The material has been excerpted from Witkowski's "Nowy slownik zapozyczen polskich w jezyku rosyjskim". The author has described changes on phonetic, morphological and semantic level. Semantic values of original Polish words and borrowing have been compared with the employment of Boolean algebra. In the last chapter a certain primitive yet effective distribution analysis tool has been proposed.
