First Purpose

'Aeon was eleven years old and changing every day. She was not usually as captivated by her own reflection as she had once been. Before leaving Garden she had only ever seen herself as a ripple of colour on the surface of the stream. Now she knew what she looked like; it was wondering who she was that kept her eyes fixed on the reflection gazing back at her from the glass.' Among the ashes of a fallen civilisation humans fight for their survival and strive to build a new and better world.
