📖 Description
Journal of Consciousness Exploration & Research ("JCER," http://www.jcer.com) is a publication in which scientists, philosophers and other learned scholars publish their research results and express their views on the nature, origin and mechanism of consciousness. In doing so, we hope that one day we will be able to arrive at a genuine science of consciousness. This is JCER Volume 1 Issue 4 first published in June 2010. It is entitled "Various Aspects of Consciousness II & Continuation of Hollows of Memory" and contains following Articles: (1) Quantum Interpretation of Vedic theory of Mind: an Epistemological Path and Objective Reduction of Thoughts; (2) The Co-Evolution of Consciousness and Language and the Development of Memetic Equilibrium; (3) The Proclivities of Particularity and Generality; and (4) From Dust to Descartes: My Thoughts on Various Aspects of Consciousness. It also contains 2 Commentaries, 9 Responses to Commentaries and 5 Book Reviews.
