The Guardians

This is the first book of the middle grade series, "The Guardians." The story is about a young girl named Ella Farya who finds out she is an alien. She has to go on a dangerous quest given to her by the mysterious Dr. M. The Guardians are the "heroes" of the world, fighting to fend off evil and war. In this quest, Ella and her fellow Guardians, Raven, Abby, Sean, and Logan, must journey to a temple in China, where death and betrayal wait to meet them. It gives Ella a chance to learn about the evil she never knew existed and about true friendship.
