Oak Ecosystem Restoration on Santa Catalina Island, California: Proceedings of an on-island workshop, February 2-4, 2007

This publication compiles a series of papers that resulted from research conducted on Catalina's oak ecosystems in the last seven years. It addresses many of the information gaps discovered in a workshop on oak ecosystem restoration, and details the results of the following fifteen research projects. Funded by The Seaver Institute, the workshops, projects and these Proceedings form a strong base for the next steps in the study, restoration, management and conservation of this unique and important Island ecosystem.
