Betrayed! Healing the wound; Forgiving the friend.

Betrayal is painful on any level. But when you are a Christian, and it comes at the hands of another Christian, it is also bewildering. How can this be? We serve the same God? It cuts, divides and often conquers. But when it comes through your spiritual leader, it is often not survivable. After all, when it is a brother or sister you can go to your pastor for advice and comfort. But when it is your pastor, you are left alone, helpless and often spiritually homeless. In my book, I share how I not only suffered betrayal, but endured and even survived. I give you 30 practical steps to do each day along with scripture meditations. This is what I did to get through one of the worst experiences of my life. Not only did I get through it, but I have been able to forgive, move on, and have a friendship with my former pastor restored. You will find I am real, but respectful, hurt but hopeful. And in the end, you will find a heart that is not only healed but restored and a friend that is forgiven.
