The Fountain of Eden: A Myth of Birth, Death, and Beer

Reenactor Jack Whiskey has spent his life blending in with the colonial-garbed crowd. But his dreamy existence is shattered when he discovers that a gang of American Indian Trickster gods are skittering around his hometown of Eden depositing a beer brewed with the Water of Life in the coolers of every bar and corner-store within city limits.

The gods are never happy when people start attaining Eternal Life like it's nobody's business. Soon enough Nataraja, the Cosmic Dancer, will take notice and two-step existence right on out of existence. But the residents of Eden--which include patchrobed Zen monks, fire-bringing fire marshals, and a slew of Trickster gods--aren't going down without a brawl.

And Jack must embark on a romp across mythical worlds, and fully realize his true nature on the journey, to prevent the stamping out of the universe.
