As far as Cathryn Hansen's co-workers at the Redick & Dobson-Browne's Advertising Agency are concerned, she is just their principal creative director. In reality, however, Cathryn is part of the progeny of a long line of witches and sorcerers. After barely surviving a bizarre childhood, she has managed to gain a life quite different from that lived by her family. Nevertheless, Cathryn shall learn that running away from her dark past is harder than she ever could have expected. She becomes haunted by horrifying dreams of rituals and visited by beings that cannot possibly exist. Before long, the strange events compel her to find the truth behind it all.
