Living with the Stranger In Me: An Exploration of Aging

Aging for Kay Mehl Miller becomes problematic when John dies. Suddenly single at 73 and alone for the first time in her life, she has lost the sense and significance of having a life of her own. Since most of her focus had been on caring for John in his final years, Kay is no longer sure who she is or what to do next. Is her own life over? Hardly. Looking for comfort, Kay goes to church and is pleasantly surprised when she is asked to play bridge! Accepting the invitation is her first step toward rebuilding a life of her own.
