Recon Team X

A fictional story of an eclectic group of U.S. soldiers, sailors, and marines formed into an experimental reconnaisance team led by a larger than life Marine Major early in WWII. Their mission is to reconnoiter several Pacific islands prior to the invasion of Guadalcanal to determine the strength of the Japanese military presence . The story follows their exploits from training to the completion of their mission.
