A Price Too High: The War Between the States in Poetry

A Price Too High is about the persons, places and events of the War Between the States, better known as the U.S. Civil War. The stories are told in verse and images from that historic period. Each chapter succinctly tells about generals and foot soldiers, battles and blunders, spies and other intrigue. Each item is self contained, thus the reader can reading each chapter in succession or open to any chapter and find a story of historical interest.
