Icebox Memories

Here is an entertaining story told by a guy who was born at a time when an electric icebox in the home was a rare novelty. His growing-up years during the Great Depression and the dirty dustbowl thirties gave him a different take on life as adult responsibilities fell upon him at an early age, and continued when he became a sailor in World War II. He's a self-deprecating guy who fumbled through life and scored a few surprising victories along the way while trying to see the positive and humorous side of what he call The Learning Experience.
