Nxandthrol: Human, Demon, Angel, Other

Nxandthrol: Human, Demon, Angel, Other is a story about a serial killer who becomes a demon, and then develops a relationship with a little girl that has been genetically engineered by extraterrestrials to be a gateway between the physical and spiritual planes (because the aliens are a dying species that have lost their connection to an afterlife). She convinces Nxandthrol to rebel against Hell and become an angel, after which he continues to evolve and becomes an Other (the next level of existence above angel and demon). The story has elements of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and new age, and offers an alternative to the standard concepts of intelligent design and evolution. The story is also an allegory about the human drive to survive and achieve, and its impact on what we perceive as good and evil.
