The Murals Of Indio

In this work,"The Murals of Indio", Paul celebrates the remarkable murals in the city of Indio, California. The murals have historic and cultural significance. Within these large murals there is a wide spectrum of vignettes, some quite small in size. These may be easily overlooked when viewing the murals in their entirety. Focusing on these vignettes in relationship to panoramic views of the murals within which they occur, Paul further emphasizes the importance the murals have in showing the important developments that have made possible our communities today. This includes the development of water systems, agriculture, electrical systems, and transportation. Also highlighted are resulting benefits including homes, cars and recreation.
