When Rand Carter woke up late he knew it wasn't going to be a good day. It looked like his girlfriend had left him - more than that, she seemed to have taken everyone else on the planet with her. Living in a world without people is fraught with challenges of its own, but his day goes from bad to worse when Rand discovers another survivor. Commander Elsie Clay is stuck orbiting Earth in the International Space Station and she’s running out of time.
