Ouroboros (Volume 1)

Ouroboros is an anthology comprised of visual art and literature featuring the work of twenty-two up-and-coming Bay Area artists. Toyin Odutola, my co-curator, and I paired eleven visual artists with work from eleven writers giving them the constraint of creating work based on the written work they received. It is our sincere hope that you will find within the pages of this anthology, through the collaborative efforts of Ben Vilmain, Scott Allen, Carlos Ramirez, Fia Maxwell, JJ Campanaro, Rae Thomas, Bruna Massadas, Rheea Mukherjee, Victoria DeBlassie, Jordan Karnes, Maya Pasternak, Leonard Crosby, Katelyn Eichwald, Ryan Funk, Rebekah Goldstein, Amelia Whitcomb, Robert Gomez, Leah O’Dooley, Allie Takahashi, Connor Maley, Daniel Dallabrida, and Luisa Leija, a conversation that crosses genres and artistic mediums creating a diverse physical and emotional landscape to build upon.
