More than 121 million people worldwide suffer from Major Depression each year. Studies reveal that over 50,000 antidepressant prescriptions are dispensed each year and rising. Questions are being raised on whether the group of drugs SSRI's even work on depression? There is no scientific proof that depression is a chemical imbalance and that serotonin levels are effected. The Voice of Them digs into these new findings. This book comes from my own life long experiences, along with much research and the dedication and need to show other sufferers that maybe SSRI's are hurting them instead of helping. That there is a normal thought process and the voice they hear is not theirs. After several years of being on different antidepressants on different doses, back to the original medication, I weaned myself off slowly and with the depression still lingering no differently than it had while on the medication, I no longer have any of the side effects, especially the voices. I have been assisting others in this same process since.
