The Tarot Fool Runs

The Sacred Paths are closing. For thousands of years the Ancients have held them open, veiling them from some, exposing them to others. The Tarot is the guide, but only a few ever realize that the twenty two Major Arcana are more than just pictures and information. Real entities protect these ways of wisdom; real wizards walk the dimensions, teaching, revealing. But there are those who would see the paths closed and mankind enslaved; the times are more dangerous than ever. Still the initiates, the fools, must walk the paths and feel their influence; it is the only hope for mankind. Clay and Ariel must deal with the Ancients as they fight to keep the sacred paths from being destroyed. The spiritual wisdom of the paths is being choked away and the usually wise ancients find they are no longer able to tap into the wisdom that has guided their paths for generations. They need Ariel and Clay to engage the paths so that their destinies will reveal the one who is trying to destroy them. But Ariel never wanted anything to do with magic or the Ancients, and Clay is a wild card that may have mysterious ties with the dark ‘Other’, one who wields a source of power the Ancients have never seen, a force that could destroy them all!
