Christ's Language: Spiritual Insight from Aramaic

The evidence points to Aramaic being the language that Jesus of Nazareth spoke. Looking at Christ’s words in the original language in which they were spoken gives us a new depth of insight into his teachings. In the Middle East, a group of Aramaic-speaking Christians have survived. A wealth of Aramaic resources, which are often overlooked, can give us a deeper insight into the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth.
