Invisible Beneath a Jovian Sky

Every aspect of Laine Harcourt's strange life can be found hidden between the covers of her sketch pad in soft lead and vibrant water color. Image after image translated from life onto the smooth, dreamy white pages... safe where no one would ever see them. Laine was careful to play her chosen part in day to day life outside her family quarters. There were only a blessed few that she allowed close enough to know her secrets, but try as she might- she would never be a normal teen. Zed Whitness was only seventeen, but he felt he had it all figured out. He had a twenty year time line. Zed was a man with a plan, A very detailed plan, a back up plan, and several contingencies all in writing. This plan was stored on his palmtop computer with courtesy copies in his father & mother’s email. He had even bored his eleven year old brothers, Wil and Lew with the "Grand Plan" on more than one occasion. He would attend college to a dual doctorate degree, Career, Marriage, and then Children. Zed had welcomed the move to the small science station on Jove because it brought with it some solitude in which to work toward his goals. It had been easy to remain invisible... until they met. Zed and Laine don't want to be normal; however they don't wish to share their unusual abilities with the universe at large. It was easy to remain invisible on Mars, but on a small science station called Jove 1, the task of going unnoticed is proving harder than one might think. This is a science fiction, coming of age story with strong Christian themes of purity and family.
