Return the Landscape: Feasibility Report

This document details the results of this research, which is highlighted by a natural heritage summary and four in-depth case studies performed over the past year. The results conclude that a native plant rescue operation is not only viable on an environmental level, but also on an economic level, and will lead to new ‘green’ jobs in Lambton County. The report also includes recommendations for the necessary components of a full-time plant rescue operation—most importantly a working partnership with municipal planning departments to ensure a timely notification system is in place.
