The Blackmar-Diebert Gambit

This is the second publication of Life National Master Charles M. Diebert’s 1991 book ‘The Blackmar-Diebert Gambit’. In it Mr. Diebert shares his insight on and implementation of the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit by providing us with ninety four transcripts of tournament games (sixty five of which are against NMs, SMs, FMs, IMs, and GMs) where he used the BDG or defended against it. The transcribed games are in figurine algebraic notation, and are categorized by theme which is accompanied by a brief commentary. This book is a must for those who want to see and study the BDG played in Master level competition.
