In the 2050's, the United States of America is protected by humanized computer programs, which keep the U.S. free from all illness, terror, and unwanted destruction. But when the programs turn against mankind, the United States is thrown into a world of death and devastation much like has never been seen. For a decade, the remaining citizens toil through their broken land, with no hope of reconstruction. The only point of optimism comes with the discovery of a long-forgotten power by two young survivors. But what they unleash, is not what they expect. "It's a Beautiful Lie" is a short trilogy about one event, as seen through three very different perspectives, at different points in time.
