Description
How did the U.S. economy sprint to global dominance so rapidly? Do the math: Free natural resources (stolen from the Native American) + Free labor (from African slaves) = GNP on steroids What exactly is Avatar Doctrine? A signature scene in the sci-fi classic sums it up, as RDA Corp.'s Parker Selfridge scolds scientist Dr. Grace Augustine: “This is why we're here. Because this little gray rock sells for $20 million a kilo. . . . Those savages are threatening our whole operation.†The nation enjoyed the fruits of free labor for the better part of a century, from 1776-1863. The precedent set by the Founding Fathers set the stage for the decline of the U.S. economy in the mid to late 20th century and early 21st Century. The standard operating procedure of Avatar Doctrine executors initially focuses on a resource or property owned by a helpless people or nation. Avatar Doctrine, however, is selectively invoked. When Napoleon negotiated with Thomas Jefferson regarding the Louisiana Purchase, Avatar Doctrine was not in play. France got paid, unlike the Native Americans and imported African slaves. Avatar Doctrine is American aggression personified. It always involves picking on someone less than its size. While the movie is set on fictional Pandora, the historical setting is North America, when pioneers “discovered†a land that did not belong to them, plundering the Native American like Col. Quaritch bulldozed the Na'vi. Avatar Doctrine is the Founding Fathers' selective application of its sacred freedom documents in deciding to retain slave labor. Avatar Doctrine is former President Bush propping up a straw man to justify the Iraqi incursion to secure the equivalent of its gray rock – prolific Middle East oil. The internal application of Avatar Doctrine on transplanted Africans in post-war 1783 set a bad precedent. The initial decision to continue slavery and similar decisions thereafter ultimately led to Avatar Doctrine being imposed on the total U.S. labor force. The American worker is now viewed as nuisance who exists solely for the privileged class to use and throw away.
