The Waves That Lift Us

The summer before freshman year, Riley attends LIFE CAMP; a week long, beach experience, for teen boys to learn a bit about nature and themselves. The beach where they camp, has a tragic past as well as an unsolved phenomenon; there are mysterious lights coming from a nearby cove, it is said to be from a dangerous creature who lives hidden within the rocks. Riley also hears of a rumor that one of his peers is transgendered. By the end of camp, Riley will discover the truth about the rumors, as well as the truth behind the tale of the monster in the cove.
