The Cherry Tree That Wept

This is a story about growing up during the Great Depression. A crippled father, a mother that was occupied with the survival of her family and three syblings. Our survival depended on a two acre plot of land. When life seemed to be unbearable I would seek solice in a miserable scrawny cherry tree, that like myself struggled to survive the hardships confronting It. This is a story of hardships, love, hate, laughter, tears and joy. This is also a story of the contest between mother and son.
