Copper Country Murder

The murder of a copper-mining mogul in Michigan's Upper Peninsula opens this novel, and retired state-police detective Jing Kugel teams up with Sheriff Bobbie Bacon to find the culprit. New mining techniques, particularly sulfide mining, share the stage with the detective, the sheriff, and a medley of "yoopers."
