An Unthinkable Marriage

In 1968, after ten long years of study and preparation, Joseph Pallikkathayil was ordained as a Catholic priest in India. Little did he know that four years later he would find himself in a little town outside of St. Louis, Missouri marrying a former nun! Dr. Pallikkathayil recounts his journey to the priesthood and his struggle to discern God’s plan for him. This struggle culminated in a marriage that overcame religious, cultural and economic barriers.
