Being Jewish in America at Twentieth Century's end isn't as easy as it's cracked up to be. Recently retired Davey Bernay moves to Dales Village, Delaware to be with his daughter Darcy. He tries to pick-up Cecily Malekstein in a store. She rebuffs him. Worse, he joins her temple. Worst, she has to pretend amity with him because her son Bennett loves Darcy. Complications ensue. Oy!
