📖 Description
Asked by her twin sons to write down the recipes for their favorite foods, Brigitte gives them not just a cookbook but a rich and fragrant ethnic medley of culinary memories and stories of her diverse family and friends, of a journey that took her from a post World War II childhood in a small German town in the foothill of the Alps to the teeming metropolis of New York City via New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and Bucks County, Pennsylvania. A long leap in culture as well as geography, but the recipes she remembers from her childhood have endured and will survive for another generation to enjoy along with the new ones gathered along the way.
