The Letters

When 10-year-old Joe Williams’ family moves from urban California to rural Oregon, he hopes to begin his life afresh. Mentored by his new friend Bo Jamison in the “way of the river,” Joe appears to find his wishes met. But as the traumas accumulate throughout his childhood, he discovers that some secrets must be confronted and dealt with before they destroy him.
