Witness to shocking horror, little Emily Wilson is mute and lost. A stranger arriving in the community near Taos, New Mexico may understand why. The investigating Sheriff is desperate for answers. He has no explanation for the growing number of missing persons that began with the girl’s mother. Given the identity of the person who summoned him, Sheriff Don Marseilles teams up with the stranger. In searching for the missing, the Sheriff and the visitor unearth an archetypal terror. Emerging from the ancient past and our collective subconscious, the unlikely partner tells the Sheriff, “They have returned. I just don’t know, why here, and why now.” The famous “Taos Hum” has fallen silent.... … they seek us again.
