In an old theatre in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, a troupe of thespians are staging a revival of Shakespeare's Macbeth. A series of mysterious events occur, culminating in the death of the lead actor. Could this be the Curse of Macbeth, once again bringing tragedy to those who utter the Bard's immortal words or something just as sinister but of a more earthly nature?
