In this book we are going to test what has been true assumed relation of Iqbal Lahori and Rumi who is well-known as Rumi. The style of working neither of Mawlana nor of Iqbal is not analyzed in this book because it has no considerable effect on our conclusion. From many points of view we see similarities in the poems of two great poets though there was 700 years distance and gap in between their eras. The sharp distinction between these two, however, is that Rumi was enjoyed only theological science mostly under the teachings of his father, though it is said that he had left the family and went to Damascus, Syria for education, but other facts does not proof such thing. Mawlana after the death of his father simply was chosen as his successor and began to administer the family affairs including teaching some students in a very ordinary way and routine. It was meeting with Shams Tabrizi that put great affect on him and in fact rebirth Rumi. Of course it is said that when he was in early years of childhood, in his family, though there were another children, it was Muhammad who was attracting the most attentions of his parents. Moreover, in their way to emigrate from Iran to a safer place, when the family reached to Nishabour and met Sheikh and grand Aref, Attar, the Sheikh by noticing extraordinary talent in Rumi, had said to the father of Rumi, Sultan Walad, that his son in the future will inflame fire of Marefat in the world. This evidences shows that Mawlana potentially was a great man of thoughts and Marefat or Irfan. The situation for Iqbal Lahori was different, he was well educated in Lahore College and afterward he went to England, Cambridge, and became graduated under the supervision of two famous British who knew very well Iran; both its politics and its literature. In fact Nicholson who also had translated Quran and had worked on Mawlana deeply to my mind has had great influence on Iqbal Lahori, who new Farsi and was well aware of literature of Iran and culture. In fact, he lived in a country that Persian language was second official language after Urdu language that in its turn was a mixture of Persian, Hindi and Arabic language. It is useful to know that even today according to the Constitution of India, Farsi or Persian Language is one of the official languages of this country. Stay of Iqbal in England has had to my mind the same effects that visit of Shams had to Rumi. In England, Iqbal Lahori became familiar with some other British influential figures as well. Iqbal Lahori then went to Munich and got a doctorate degree by writing a thesis on the “Development of Metaphysics in Iran” that made him more familiar with Iran literature, philosophy and other literary works in Persian. When he returned to India Subcontinent he became very active in politics, a domain which was very far of thought of Rumi. He wanted to be successful in politics, and then by knowing that poem has great effects on masses he composed his ideas in poem, mostly Mathnavi. In fact in the pre 20th century poem was plying the role of mass media in the world. Therefore it is not by accident that we see in the past many people chose poetry as a profession because there were always some open ears for poem. In the course of history we see many great personalities who had many things, even top fame and reputation, were trying to say some couplet of poem. Many of readers may know not Bahram V or Bahram Gur, a Sassanid King, 420-438, who had every thing, including nearly 1000 beautiful women in his heram; It is said during his reign every body was happy in Iran; no war, no tax, and practicing very prosperous years, though he did try to learn poetry and there is a single couplet that he and his beloved together have composed.
