Discovering Swimming was written with the intention of showing you, as effectively as possible, the methodology, drills and skills, language and philosophy of our program. It includes step-by-step instructions on how to get from barely being able to get into the water, all the way to the diving board and the racing block. Hopefully, the information in this book is so insightful that regardless of who you were before you read it, you will gain a wealth of information! Anyone who instructs, guides, and assists in the swimming process is an instructor: Parents, caretakers, friends, and all the way up to Olympic swim coaches; you are all instructors.
