Forest Island

Charlie was a lot of things. He was a dreamer, a writer and a musician. He was also his cat Max’s personal slave. He thought he had achieved his life dream when he bought a little cabin in the mountains of Northern California. A place where he could live his perfect, single, recluse life. A place carved out of the dense forest, creating an oasis of peace and quiet. A utopia he named Forest Island. All of that changed for him and his best friend Max when they discovered the previous owner of the cabin had been murdered gruesomely in the living room. That kicked in Charlie’s investigative juices, leading him through the maze of small town mystery. Later his deeply held belief that he would live alone came into question.
