Unnatural’s have been discovered and it’s a new world for those living alongside the dark beings. The Bureau, like many other authorities, contract Hunters to keep the otherworldly in line. Jacqueline Croft is one of their top employees. Spending her nights working keeps the huntress plenty busy. Not to mention dealing with the odd relationship she’s formed with a rakish vampire named Rafefrick. However, there are more things going bump in the night; some of them aren’t created from a bite or scratch. Twisted creatures have escaped a Dalington holding facility and Jack has every intention of taking the bounties on them. What she doesn’t expect however, is how deeply she’ll fall before finding out what exactly she’s up against. Secrets and past lives play a dark role in the mystery Jack is desperate to solve.
