One Right Thing

Somewhere in Kansas, sometime in the late 20th century, 16 year old track star, Maggie Stark, runs in the night from her mother's town and trailer to her father's unheated bungalow in a town down the road. That will make things right. But when Maggie meets a soso welcome from Daddy-Rick and encounters Lulu and Jewel, two senile, resident grannies, she's not sure Junction City is her final destination. Don't forget Dad's new wife LeRaye, though she's easy to forget, guarding her butterscotch vinyl handbag and sizing up how big a threat Maggie will be for Dad's attention.
