Mark Logan is not your typical teenager. He loves learning new things, reading science fiction and fantasy books, and playing computer games based on the popular game of Dungeons and Dragons. This has made Mark the target of the local high school bully that has tormented the young man for years. With the help of his best friend, Kevin Lewis, Mark has managed to keep his sanity and fight back. But nothing prepares him for the challenges that he faces when he awakens in a strange world surrounded by five of his friends, and his tormentor - the school bully. A plan that was set in motion hundreds of years before he was even born, Mark must now discover his true identity, regain powers he never knew he had, and defeat a crazed wizard who has domination of a planet that Mark has never heard of uppermost on his mind. As he battles for his life, and fights for justice on a planet he is just discovering is his home world, Mark will come to terms with the knowledge that a dark and more sinister plan lies in waiting; and death is only a breath away for him and his friends.
