Jesus for a Buddhist

What exactly is the core set of beliefs that make Christianity? And how do they fit inside Buddhism? How could a “refuge taking” Buddhist accept them? Going the other way, what does a refuge-taking Buddhist believe, and how do those beliefs fit within Christianity? How could a “born again” Christian accept them? This book answers those questions by laying out in simple terms an explanation of the essential points of each side, and explains a way to merge them. The first half of the book describes essential and non-negotiable beliefs of Buddhism in words that a Christian can understand: dependent origination, the Four Noble Truths, the Five Precepts. The second half describes essential and non-negotiable Christianity: the Ten Commandments, prayer, the Nicene Creed, and the Lord’s Supper. The result is clear, thorough, and detailed presentation of a genuine and legitimate Buddhist Christianity, or Christian Buddhism, that is true to both sides.
