With former agents from his beloved intelligence agency in place and connections with organized crime now engaged, Daniels launches a vicious attack on Burns' weakest link, his family. In Spain, while returning home from teaching, David Caulfield and Emma are caught in an ambush, surrounded by hired hands from a local crime cartel led by former FIA Agent Jeff Glenn. While leaving the FBI parking lot, Emma's half-sister in brazenly abducted by a rival syndicate family intent on controlling all of Boston's organized crime. In New Hampshire, former FIA Agent Alica Wise, "Intimate Cover Specialist", is tracking Burns with her own plans, terminate him.
