Design and Chance

In 1950's England, a small child is left with unfamiliar relatives. Her mother never comes back and she is grown up before she finds out why. In the course of her growing up, she copes with her dysfunctional family and the predatory Uncle Harry. Faye is a survivor and this story, although covering some difficult material is one of triumph.
