The Martinique Diversion

At the beginning of World War II, France was dealing with the problem of hiding the world's largest reserve of gold bullion from Hitler's impending invasion and takeover. According to reports, some of it was sent overseas to friendly territories; others say the largest portion was lost at sea somewhere off the coast of Martiniqe. This story deals with the hiding of the gold and, many years later, the search for it. What was the truth? Well, this is a work of fiction, so anything and everything may or may not have happened. In short, The Martinique Diversion presents one very real possibility - and to strengthen its credence, the story is built around actual, historical events. There's also a little bit of romance thrown in for good measure.
