This story is about separations between the true self/ego/alter ego/id (and whatever else you choose to define them as) and how each person is already two people divided within their own persona. It is the choices made, willingness to learn, and what one one can find the strength to let go of that will determine which one of the two ultimately define who you are in the physical world. The portrayal of these ideas is demonstrated through two twins, Nicolai and Alex, who were raised against the backdrop of Russian organized crime, and the story winds its way thematically through psychedelic perspectives, thrilling sequences, and philosophical quandaries into an addictive spiral of events. And if read with great precision, you will also notice the hidden allegorical elements related to the rise of Peter the Great, the creation of imperial Russia, and numerous philosophical theories and suppositions coded within the writing.
