AN INSPIRING TALE FROM OLD AFRICA Kumuni’s whole childhood is colored by fear. Fear of being himself, and a crippling weakness to confirm his royalty. He has nothing around him or inside of him to prove that he is truly the son of his dead father, the feared and respected king and priest of an ancient African kingdom named Keku. Each day, Kumuni is mocked by his origin. Even when he is not scolded by those he is born to rule, he feels that he himself ridicules the memory of his father. After a sudden tragedy strikes, he is taken up in a cosmic whirlwind of gods, spirits, priests, and men. He has just one option if he wants to safeguard his royal heritage, community, and beloved family: he has to discover the powerful, hidden secrets behind his royal identity.
