Flame & Claw: The Domain (Volume 1)

With equal parts fantasy and horror, "The Domain" follows the journey of Mark, a short but scrappy thief who does whatever he can to survive on the streets of Los Angeles and utilizes those skills when he finds himself yanked into a dangerous world where a giant wall divides light from dark, good from evil. In the first book, "Flame & Claw," Mark meets Danny, a cage fighter, and Pattie, a waitress, and together they enter the Domain. Lost and confused, they travel through an idyllic jungle to an underground city, where they help defend the caverns from an invasion of hupia, raptor-like dragons.
