Deathsun 2012 - novella

The sun was too hot. Gaia pulled the Sunshield away from the window but dropped it fast. She didn't want to burn her eyes. The view outside her home in the country was lovely that time of year: untouched snow, blue sky, and the creaking of bare trees. She was hosting an "End of the World" party that night: December, 21st, 2012, the end of the Mayan calendar. The night many say the world will end. On the last night of the Mayan calendar, four friends gather in a remote house to wait out "the end of the world" - but they are not alone! Supernatural forces are close by, as the veil between the worlds is thin at this time of universal transformation, and the great battle of Revelation, of good vs. evil, is yet to begin.
