The Fear of Surrender: A Moment in Time with Padre Pio

Life and death... we are born and yet we are marked to die. Why is it that we all have to go? Even though my parents died a while ago, I still feel a great sense of loss, emptiness and a wish that they were still here with me. I am always left with questions such as: "Where do we go from here? I don't know but if I relied on my faith, I would be assured that there is a life ahead of us, a life in the light of God. That being said, I still don't know the details of this life after death and nobody else does either, but through my near death experiences I can say that my spirity was live and traveling upwards someplace... maybe I am to tell the story of hope and of a future life ahead of us when we die. Maybe what we do on earth will matter and will count.
